Terms and conditions
These terms explain what you get when you buy from Rolemend, what we expect from you, and what happens if something goes wrong. We've kept them as plain as we can. Please read them before you order.
1. Who we are
Rolemend is a trading name of EvolveOneAI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17271120). Our registered office is 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG.
You can contact us at hello@rolemend.co.uk. When we say "we", "us" or "our", we mean EvolveOneAI Ltd. When we say "you", we mean the person ordering.
Our service is for individuals buying for their own personal use. You must be 18 or over to order.
2. What you're buying
For £14.99 we will prepare:
- one CV, written or rewritten from the information you give us, as an editable Word file and a PDF; and
- one reusable cover letter written around your strengths and the type of work you want, with the parts you'll change for each application clearly marked (for example [Employer name] and [Job title]), as an editable Word file and a PDF.
Your CV is written for the type of role you tell us you want. It is one CV, not a separate version for each vacancy. Before delivery we check it with tools that test how it reads to the screening software many employers use and to AI-writing checkers. These checks help, but no tool can guarantee how an employer's own systems will treat your CV.
A person writes and checks every document before it's sent. We may use software tools, including AI-assisted writing tools, to help prepare your documents, but a person always reviews them.
The price does not include: unlimited rewrites; separate letters for individual vacancies; supporting statements or application-form answers; job searching; or applying for jobs on your behalf.
3. How ordering works
- You fill in our order form and upload your CV, or tell us your work history.
- You tick to confirm you agree to these terms and want us to start straight away.
- You pay £14.99 through Stripe, our payment provider.
A contract between you and us is formed when your payment is successfully completed. If you fill in the form but don't pay, there's no contract and we'll delete what you sent us within 30 days.
We may decline an order, for example if we can't help with the type of role you're applying for or the request breaks these terms. If we decline after you've paid, we'll refund you in full.
4. Price and payment
The price is £14.99. That's the total you pay: there are no extra charges and no subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe when you order. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Delivery and the 24-hour promise
We aim to email your finished documents within 24 hours of the later of: (a) your payment being confirmed, and (b) us having all the information we need to write them.
If something important is missing or unclear, such as dates, job titles or qualifications, we'll email you to ask. The 24 hours start once you've replied with what we need.
If we can't deliver within 24 hours for reasons on our side, we'll tell you and give you a new time. If that doesn't work for you, you can cancel and we'll refund you in full.
We deliver by email to the address you give us. Please check it carefully and look in your spam folder. We're not responsible for delays caused by an incorrect email address.
6. What we need from you
You agree that:
- the information you send us is true and accurate, and you're entitled to share it;
- you won't ask us to include anything false or misleading, such as made-up jobs, qualifications, grades or results; and
- you'll check your documents before using them, because you know your own history best.
We write from what you tell us. We won't invent experience or claims. If we spot something that looks inconsistent, we may ask you about it before we finish.
Please don't send us identity documents, National Insurance numbers, dates of birth, bank or card details, passwords, or health information you don't want on your CV. We don't need them.
7. Corrections
If we've made a mistake, for example a wrong date, a spelling error, or something that doesn't match what you sent us, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we'll correct it free of charge.
Corrections cover our errors. They don't cover new information you didn't originally send, a change of target role, or a request for a different style. We're happy to discuss those, but they may be a new order.
8. Your right to cancel
Because you're buying online, you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of the contract being formed without giving a reason. This comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Because we deliver within 24 hours, we can only start inside that 14-day period if you ask us to. You do this by ticking the box on the order form. That means:
- If you cancel before we start work, you get a full refund.
- If you cancel after we've started but before we deliver, we'll refund you minus a fair amount for the work already done, based on how far along we were.
- Once your documents have been delivered, the service is complete and you no longer have the right to cancel. You still have your legal rights if something is wrong (see section 9).
To cancel, email hello@rolemend.co.uk with your name and order reference. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you don't have to. We'll refund you within 14 days of agreeing the cancellation, to the card you paid with.
9. Your legal rights
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we must carry out the service with reasonable care and skill, and the documents must match what we've described. If we don't, you can ask us to put it right. If we can't, or don't within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.

10. What we can't promise
A good CV helps, but we can't control who employers shortlist or hire. We don't guarantee interviews, job offers or any particular result.
11. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable.
Because our service is for personal use, we're not responsible for business losses. In any case, our total responsibility to you for an order is limited to the price you paid, except where the law says we can't limit it. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law.
12. Your documents
Once you've paid, the finished CV and cover letter are yours to use, edit and share for your own job applications. Please don't resell them or our templates.
13. Your information
We use your information only to provide the service and contact you about your order. Our privacy notice explains what we collect, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights.
14. Complaints
If you're unhappy, email hello@rolemend.co.uk and tell us what went wrong. We'll reply within 5 working days and try to put it right.
15. Other important terms
- We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you ordered.
- We may transfer our rights under these terms to another organisation. We'll tell you if this happens, and it won't affect your rights.
- If a court decides part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
